AGILIWAY’S 2021 REWIND: STARTING POINT FOR THE NEW YEAR

In 2021 the world was trying to get back to normal amidst the pandemic, and so did we. The numbers of our team members, project, and clients grew steadily throughout the year. We worked hard and studied even harder. We finally got together live in a 6-anniversary celebration with tons of different activities. It was a great opportunity to meet, communicate and have an amazing time. What’s more? Let’s rewind what our 2021 looked like.

Establishing Agiliway Training Center has been one of the key decisions for the company that gave impetus to significant changes. Our TOP specialists conducted a series of webinars on AI-Driven Healthcare, successful Project Management, Functional Programming, Strategic Value of Front-End Planning, HR and others.

We are grateful to our mentors, who were opened joining Mentorship Program and let our fresh specialists ask and learn from them, and mentees that expressed their interest in the program and showed their willingness to become professionals in their fields.

As part of ATC, we launched Internship Programs in Lviv and Chernivtsi for Clojure, PHP, Java, and Front-End developers as well as Project Managers who wanted to learn, grow and, eventually, join Agiliway. In total, we had over 280 applications from the students. Additionally, we arranged several live meetups within IT Breakfasts, where our Project Managers and Senior Engineers shared their experience and knowledge with the participants.

We in Agiliway believe in the power of good education. This is one of the reasons why it is so important to support the development of the IT community at early stages. We partnered with Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University to empower young people and help them grow as professionals while studying. From donating PCs to arranging programs: we do whatever is necessary to promote the IT industry and fuel it with even more specialists in the future.

As a special event to the Student’s Day, we arranged STUDENT IT CAMP: (R)Evolution of a Developer, a series of webinars where they shared their experience in the industry, how they got to where they are today, useful tips on how to become industry gurus, etc. Moreover, Agiliway annually participates in the Engineering Job Fair, where IT community representatives communicate with students who would like to join the industry.

Becoming ISO 27001 certified company is a significant milestone on Agiliway’s path. The certification confirms that Information Security Management System (ISMS) in the company is compliant with the international standards. The independent auditors inspected HR, IT, and Security processes prior to making their decisions. Agiliway utilizes the industry’s best practices to mitigate any risks of data breach or leak. Moreover, all our documentation and policies are developed in compliance with the international laws and regulations, e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA.

Finally, we get to travel and meet with industry experts across the globe. In 2021 we attended several industry-leading events: like Annual Machaon Arizona Technology Summit, Silicon Slopes, and Voice Summit and others. E-Commerce Germany Awards 2021 recognized Agiliway among the TOP 10 IT and Infrastructural Solutions companies. Agiliway also participated in IT Arena, the largest IT event in Ukraine.

We are grateful for everything 2021 brought us. Our team grew by 44%. We studied, taught, traveled, ran marathons, and more. All this to become stronger and better in 2022.
